The opera was awesome! I'm pretty sure I paid for seats in the nose bleeds, but we ended up on the floor, how super! Far enough away to be able to see the translation without breaking your neck, but close enough to clearly see everyone's facial expression. And I was lucky enough to be seated right beside sarcastic clap guy, and right in front of Talky McBurperson. The sets were great, and the whole thing was hilarious! That final scene was a riot. So sad I won't get to see Taras next season. After the opera, Chirv made me go out to a club. I'm sorry Chirv, but that's not for me. I hope I wasn't so much of a party pooper that I spoiled your night.

Friday I was going to take the 4 pm bus home, but we decided to do the mall in the evening because Chirv had a meeting to go to. So I decided to go for the Saturday 1 am bus. The mall was awesome. I managed to find something for my dad's b-day, plus a few things for my self...

VV~ This is hands down my favourite non-Tarzan snowglobe. I've always loved this segment, and this globe is just amazing. The picture really doesn't do it justice. ~VV

After tha mall we went back to campus and went to a book burning. Some subjects are tougher than others, and they really fought the fire. There was no 1 am bus, and I had to wait til 3 pm. I went to sleep that night watching SPN. Hung around all day with Chirv watching tv. On the bus ride home I watched a show on bull sharks, and (surprise, surprise) SPN. And as soon as I got home I watched the newest episode, which was hucking filarious! Loved it.

Sunday I got up early and Amanda and I went into Calgary. Had lunch at the mall, bought a few books, then went over to the Jubilee. Tosca was, in a word, beautiful. The sets were just gorgeous, as was the singing. I would definately go see it again. Next season looks like a busy one.
